Project Manager - Ottawa, Ontario

About the Role

The Project Manager would be responsible for managing and coordinating all transition projects in the Ottawa and surrounding area. Reporting directly to the owner, you liaise directly with clients and will manage a team of stagers, organizers and subcontractors to recreate home for clients, and build the Ottawa market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Project Management and logistics – hiring appropriate talent to complete the project
o Estimating projects and preparing project scope for client
o Overseeing execution and outcomes of projects ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, meet standards and completed within estimated time
o Communication with head office admin and accounting
o In home visits and communication with clients and retirement residences and care homes
o Measuring of spaces and furniture
o Creation of floor plans
o B2B – maintaining and building authentic partnerships with care and retirement homes
o Social media engagement with clients and contacts
o Any additional tasks to build and maintain the business as required

o Projects managed and executed with a high level of efficiency, accuracy and professionalism
o Demonstrates positive exposure of the brand by living the values of professionalism, precision and respect
o Positive feedback from clients, team members and repeat business from retirement and care homes
o Positive and nurturing work environment for all team members and contractors
o All procedures, KPI’s and brand standards followed to create beautiful spaces that feel like home!

Requirements

  • Ability to work remotely and independently – ideally lives in Ottawa, ON or within driving distance

  • Eye for interior design and décor

  • Proficient in space planning – ability to create 2D floor plans

  • Detail orientated in visual and administrative tasks, highly organized and efficient

  • Empathetic, trustworthy, friendly, professional – able to navigate delicate situations as a gentle leader

  • Lives the brand values – coming from of place of serving our community with our skills and talents – craves meaningful and fulfilling work

  • Experience with and enjoys working with seniors and / or people living with dementia

  • Contacts in the retirement / care industry an asset

  • Business minded, resourceful, efficient, detailed, problem solver, team player, positive attitude

  • Valid drivers licence and vehicle

  • Police check once hired
